Chitra Ravi (Founder & CEO)

A management graduate, Chitra has a great passion for education. Chitra deftly combines her skills in conceptualization, storyboarding and instructional design to deliver products and services which are dynamic and on par with any international curriculum standards. Chitra has widely traveled to the United States, United Kingdom, Germany and South East Asia and has participated in many international training programmes and conventions including the Project Zero conducted by the Harvard University exclusively for educators. She has also presented a programme on effective use of technology in K-12 curriculum for one of the biggest satellite channels in India.

Valliappan Nagappan (Director - Head, Finance).

A graduate in computer science and a post-graduate in management, Valliappan worked with India’s largest ITES consulting firm for over 3 years. He is one of the first persons in this country to specialize in ICT curriculum for schools. Trained in the U.S. on ICT integration in schools, Valliappan has a vast experience as Curriculum Director for a multinational children’s computer education provider for over 3 years. In that capacity he has customized curriculum and evolved teacher training models. His experience with curriculum & technology integration helps the company to provide state-of-the-art products and consulting to its customers.

Ganesh Subramanian (Director - Head, Business Development)

An MBA from premier institute, Ganesh has had wide ranging corporate experience in the area of business development in leading educational services and information technology industries. His expertise is in conceptualization and product management. He has gained tremendous insights while working in overseas markets. Ganesh with his innovative and creative ideas, has added a lot of value to EZ Vidya’s services. His versatility sees him contributing immensely to all areas in the organization.

Viswanath Gopal (Founding Member – Head, Client Delight)

An engineering graduate hailing from the queen of hills (The Nilgiris). Started his professional career since the inception with EZ Vidya as a marketing executive and grew gradually to the level of Head – School Partnership. An astute professional with over 12 years of experience in Business Development, Recruitment, Training, Implementation, Operation, Strategic Planning, Event Management and Team Management. An assertive, multilingual communicator with excellent relationship building skills.

Bala Subramaniam (Head, Education Partnership)

Balasubrahmanian, also known as Bala, is a mechanical engineer of education. After working for a year in manufacturing, he chose a change and taught various subjects at the middle & high school levels for 3 years. He has been with EZ Vidya for 6 years now, and has facilitated several sessions in teacher empowerment programs. He also has considerable experience in participating in classroom transactions and holding discussions with teachers. He currently heads the school consulting arm of EZ Vidya, which provides customized consulting services to schools. Apart from this, Bala is also currently pursuing the M.A. in Elementary Education Programme from Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS).

Ramesh Varma (Head, School Partnership)

Ramesh carries with him a rich experience of over 10 years in sales, across different industry verticals like Manufacturing, Publishing, E-biz and Information technology. A sound knowledge of business processes and domains, his strength lies in consultative selling and connecting with people. A genial personality and full hearted people person he is popular with colleagues and clients alike. He studied computer science and engineering. An avid photographer; arts and culture are his other interests outside work.

Matt Wennersten (Head, Scalability in Education)

Matt Wennersten heads the Scalability in Education (SiE) group at EZ Vidya. He has 16 years experience in strategic ICT consulting and training. With Masters degrees in Engineering and Education, Matt has served as enterprise architect, country manager and consulting practice lead in systems integration and SOA development for multiple Web 2.0 development companies. He has also been a classroom teacher, department head, teacher trainer, and curriculum developer for multiple school systems, including consulting on state standards for New Zealand and Washington, DC, USA. In addition to developing technology products for EZ Vidya, Matt continues to consult to the New Zealand Ministry of Education on national assessments.

Madhalam Praveen Kumar (Executive Assistant)

Praveen is and Electronics & Communication engineer by education. After his engineering he joined a youth leadership programme through which he had worked with an NGO in Himachal Pradesh in the areas of Livelihood and Youth empowerment. At EZ Vidya, Praveen has played varied roles across sales, marketing, systems and business panning.
